Stephen talks about how it feels like there not enough hours in a day and how everything takes longer than you think it will for content creators especially. He finished recording all the StephenPlays videos for the month of January which took him longer than expected. Stephen comments on how it's unusual for him to be ahead especially when they don't have a trip coming up. He was busy recording, so he wasn't able to build the streaming computer.
Stephen goes to unbox the $120 C-stand that arrived today. He mentions that they loss both package openers, so he had to use scissors instead. Stephen puts the C-stand together and talks about how this is much better than the microphone stand they were using before. He then talks about how he hasn't been around a lot of film equipment since film school. Stephen says that the C-stand is sturdy and heavy. He talks about how in film school they used to put sand bags on the legs of the C-stand to weigh it down depending on what they were mounting on it.
Mallory already went to bed, so she didn't see Stephen build the C-stand. Stephen says that he now has a big metal rod in the living room. He says that he will definitely build the streaming computer tomorrow.
