Stephen and Mal play Minecraft for the first time in a long time. Specifically, they're playing through the game in Survival Mode for Stephen & Friends with the goal of getting one saddle per person (10 saddles in total). Many things have changed in the game since they played it last: saddles are no longer found in mine shafts, there's a recipe book, and there are lots of UI upgrades.
Playing in Survival Mode, rather than playing a Complete-The-Monument map was a good decision for everyone, since it gave them a lot more freedom to do whatever they want. Stephen doesn't know when the series will finish, but it'll take some time before they finish getting those saddles.
