On this day, 50 years ago the moon landing happened. In order to celebrate this event, Thomas and Brittany decided to throw a Moon Party at their home in Pensacola, Florida. Stephen and Mallory wanted to go, but were unable to because of work. They would've had to take 3 days off since it takes 1 day to drive there, 1 day for the event, and then 1 day for them to drive back home. Dan and Lindsey were also unable to go.
Alex, Hayley, Paul, Chaz, and Jeff were able to go and Jeff was nice enough to film some footage of the party for the vlog. Chaz, Jeff, and Thomas decide to go have brunch at a restaurant before the Moon Party. Thomas and Brittany's house is decorated with a bunch of moon-themed things. Thomas and Chaz drink tequila sunrises in moon shaped cups. Alex and Hayley arrive and everyone watches the CBS News Simulation of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing.
Thomas decides to give away some awards and cash prizes. Roland couldn't make it to the party, but he thought the party was a good idea and contributed some cash prizes. So, Thomas awarded Roland the Saturn 5 award which Brittany accepted in his place. He gave the Voyager award to Chaz who traveled the furthest from Muncie, Indiana to get to this party. Thomas mentions that he beat Paul by a slight margin since Paul came from Beavercreek, Ohio. The Accuracy award went to Hayley for her drawing of the moon landing.
Then, Thomas gave everyone a quiz which included an essay portion. Alex got the most questions correct, so Thomas asks him to read his poem aloud as the winner and gives him the Steely-Eyed Missile Man award and $11 as a cash prize. Thomas mentions that Alex took 1 hour to write his poem. Later, they watch the original moon landing.
Back at Stephen and Mal's house, Stephen thanks Jeff for filming it. Stephen says that he would've just ended up talking about work on the vlog if Jeff hadn't filmed today's party. Jeff ends the vlog by saying "Let's moon back tomorrow, shall we?".
