Stephen and Mallory finally finished cleaning up all the things in the dining room. The only thing remaining in there is 1 package that they received for January mail. They also recorded the December mail video where they received food from different countries and a ton of games. It may have been the most games they have ever received in a mail video. They received a lot of Wii games which is good because they are trying to complete the Wii/Wii U collection by October for Extra Life 2020. The actual Extra Life event happens in November, but they decided to do theirs in October to avoid having issues with donations.
Stephen's parents finally got the furniture for the new room, so they are going over there to bring them the TV. Mal exclaims "TV Time!". Stephen says that his dad is excited about the new TV and his mom is making crab cake sandwiches for dinner. He hopes that the TV isn't broken since they've had it for a while.
They go over to his parent's house where Stephen says that his parents were surprised that pillows came with their couches. The couches have motorized recliners and USB ports on the side. Stephen says that the couches look like seats you would find in a fancy movie theater, not that he's ever been to one though...
Stephen sets up the TV and shows his parents some of the stored demo stuff on the TV like HDR footage and inspirational music. It took 30 minutes for the TV to download updates after they hooked it up. The Vizio TV has no app store since Vizio has control over what apps are on their system, but it has 42 built-in apps. Stephen tried to see if there was a Twitch app since his parents like watching Breakfast Stream, but there wasn't an app. The TV does have Airplay 2 which lets you share your iPhone screen with your TV screen. His parents have been using this method since their previous TV also didn't have a Twitch app. Stephen says that Twitch just released their app recently, so maybe Vizio will update so that there is a Twitch app. Debra feels like the new room is so different that it feels like it's not part of their house. Stephen says that the room feels weird because there's no coffee table. Debra comments that at least the room is no longer angel-themed. Stephen jokingly says that the angels need to go back to heaven since they've been stuck on the walls for 22 years.
Back at home, both Sagan and Kepler are lying on top of the cat tower. Stephen says that he guarantees that Sagan was there first and Kepler came later and laid down on top of him. However, Mal interjects from her studio saying that when they got home she saw Kepler there first and Sagan laid down on top of him. This is unusual because Sagan is usually there first. Mal is currently editing the full version video for the Untitled Goose Game - "Une Oie" painting. Stephen says that they have been busy working on stuff because Emile and Masae will be visiting tomorrow. The last time they were here was last January. He hasn't seen them since The Runaway Guys Colosseum and they will be seeing their new house for the first time. They will also be joining the Friday gaming stream with them which will be in the living room. Stephen hasn't had time to fix the stream box, but he will try to take a look at it tonight. haven't been able to fix stream box
