The vlog starts out with Stephen talking about he went to bed early yesterday and how he got up early today. Stephen says that you know when you get up early since fast food restaurants are still serving breakfast (before 10:30 AM). He then shows Mallory using a French press. Stephen says that Lindsey was ordering things from Ikea online and Mal asked her to get some stuff for her too since she was ordering stuff anyway. He explains that the shipping fee was a flat fee, so it wouldn't change no matter how many things she ordered.
Mal then uses the French press to press down coffee grounds mixed with water. Stephen mentions that Mal really likes cold brew, so she wanted a way to make cold brew more easily. Mal finishes making the cold brew and Stephen asks for a cup of it. Stephen says he likes both hot and cold coffee, but he prefers hot coffee a little more. He says that he will have cold brew if Mal is having some. Stephen mentions that his mom has a day off, so his parents wanted to go out and have lunch with them. He said that they were going to start by drinking coffee first because "Waking up is easier with a Pot of Joe or in this case a French Press of Bill".
The video then transitions to Stephen and Mal having lunch with Stephen's parents at Croissants Bistro & Bakery. Mal ordered an omelette with pancetta, brie cheese, and herb with a side of hash browns and a croissant. Debra ordered a sandwich with andouille sausage, fried green tomatoes, roasted red peppers, and pimento cheese grits with a side of potato chips. Steve ordered a turkey pretzel club sandwich with a side of hash browns. Stephen ordered "Huevos Rancheros" which is 2 eggs to order, chorizo, flour tortillas, black beans, rice, avocado, cilantro, and pico de gallo.
After they finished eating, they went to Costco and Mal sits down in a office chair that is out for display. Mal said that she read reviews online about this office chair and people were saying that the lower lumbar support doesn't work because the head rest of the office chair is too puffy. But, Mal says that she is short enough, so she still has good lumbar support. Mal also shows that the arm rests of the office chair can be moved up and down which was good for her because she doesn't like them being there sometimes. She says that this chair would be for the office. Stephen says that she still needs a stool for her studio. Mal tells him that the office chair is $100 cheaper at Costco than it is on Amazon. Stephen asks Mal if she wants to go down the aisle where the price of the office chair is located because the display chair wasn't near the the price tag. Mal says that only the boxes with the office chairs are located down the aisle. Stephen then says that he was just trying to get Mal to follow him while rolling down the aisle in the office chair.
Stephen and Mal return home. Debra is asking Kepler to "shake" and Kepler does so. She then asks Sagan to "shake" which he does with both paws. Stephen says that Kepler is always willing to "shake" whether there are treats or not. He said that his mom gave Kepler some treats and he keeps "shaking" because he thinks there might be more treats. Stephen then says that they have been recording Mario Party episodes with his parents who haven't been in a StephenPlays video since LittleBigPlanet 3. He said that those episodes would probably be released in the summer. Stephen then says one of the other videos they wanted to record was the January mail video. He says that mail videos are supposed to come out 15 days after the last month ends. So, the January mail video was supposed to come out in the middle of February, but they weren't able to record it because they were too busy.
Stephen says that they got a chance to use Mal's new lights that they got in vlog Day 3378. He said that before they were still using the old lights since Mal was still finishing up her "Bonneton" painting. Stephen says that they still don't have the diffusion material yet, but they used paper towels which works pretty well. He says that one of the good points about these lights is that they don't emit heat, so there are no risks of fires. Stephen said that you should check to make sure that it is safe to use paper towels on your lights before you put them on. He then talks about how they got some great food and seasonings in the mail packages. Stephen says that they have to brine the chicken in pickle juice before they have dinner since they were planning to have pickle brined chicken. He mentions that they are going to try to go to bed early in order to keep with the schedule and that there will be a Breakfast Stream tomorrow.
