Summary[]
Birds have been using the bird feeder Mallory set up, and Stephen manages to catch a female goldfinch on camera. Besides that, Stephen talks about how he's been feeling really good about work because he's been doing a good job focusing on getting work for the next day done, and then some more.
On the other hand, things have been tough on Mallory, because she's been trying to release 3 paintings ("Ring", "Duck" and "Rolling") in 3 weeks. With her root canal, and her birthday, as well as being sick and in pain, taking up time, she might not be able to get "Rolling" done within the day. That being said, she's been enjoying painting it.
They've also being enjoying their sleep schedule, not just for themselves but also for the cats. Getting up in the morning means that they can open the windows and enjoy the sunlight and the cats, especially Sagan, like looking outside the window in the daytime.
Some time later, Stephen has done well, but Mallory unfortunately isn't going to get the painting done. Since Stephen is already feeling tired enough to sleep, he checks with Mal to see if she's ready to call it a day and eat dinner and she is! The painting will come out late, but they had a productive day.
