Mallory went into Stephen's office without him noticing since he was focused on watching Fobbies are Borange 2: This is Canon. Stephen says that he has finished working on scheduling videos, editing vlogs, and getting the next episode of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons from the stream. A user on Twitter tweeted him a cover they did of Stephen's I Am Earthbound song in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Mother 2. Stephen hasn't sung that song in a while, but he somehow still remembered all the words. The user changed the lyric "But 10 years later I’ve got attitude" to "But 25 years later and I instantly aged in seconds". This made Stephen remember his old Earthbound related videos like Fobbies are Borange, so he decided to watch some of those videos.
He talks about how he hadn't considered how many days were left before the trip. Someone had asked him when they were leaving on Twitter and he told them that they were leaving in 3 days. Then, he suddenly thought "Three days is not many days!". They have 2 days left now and they still have a lot to do.
Mal says that her day wasn't good because she's worried that a potential fire may happen in their guest room from the strange electrical burn smell. One of Mal's biggest fears is fire and her house had a chimney fire when she was younger, so she's been anxious about the potential fire hazard. Stephen doesn't want her to end up fearing the house, but it is an issue. He had called the rental company a week ago and they hadn't sent anyone to take a look at it. So, he messaged them yesterday and they sent out someone who confirmed that there was definitely a weird smell. Today, the HVAC guy came and checked the AC. The HVAC guy said that the smell wasn't coming from the AC unit, but the smell is definitely concerning.
Stephen called the rental company and told them that the HVAC wasn't the problem. He hopes they send an electrician tomorrow. Stephen says that he will call them again tomorrow to make sure since they are leaving for their trip in 2 days. He says that the rental company will have to deal with it because this house that they're renting belongs to the rental company. They decided to turn off the breaker in the guest room to give them peace of mind. It was also to see if the smell really is coming from the circuit in that room. Stephen says that he has been working for the entire day and Mal has been feeling anxious all day about the fire hazard.
